Honestly, I don’t even think it’s that; it’s likely just part of the games LoD scaling. In the creator there is only one active asset so it gets set to max LoD, in the world there are hundreds if not thousands of assets so LoD becomes priority based and considering that most people will wear helmets or spend the

There’s no real mystery here, it’s likely just LoD scaling... While you are in the character creator your character is the only thing being rendered so the level of detail is through the roof, where as when you are in the world and surrounded by hundreds if not thousands of objects the LoD drops significantly.

On the PS4 side all you have to worry about is douchebag players canceling their SOS seconds before the end of a quest just to keep you from getting loot you spent 10-20 minutes earning...

Is that Stormy back there or a little otter, a sexy little otter...

Did you intend this to be as ironic as it came out?

They are still in the game, they’ve just been made better and a lot less tedious while simultaneously making hunts the main focus.

MH will always be a grind, it’s just the nature of the games concept; but they seem to have made it a lot less tedious for a couple of reasons:

Damnit Capcom, first you have a Zinogre POP figure and now a armor set in SFV; I swear if it’s not in World like the leaked monster list suggests I’ll be pissed...

This was bound to happen when SE decided to create a studio with the specific intention of churning out JRPGs every two years... I am actually surprised that I am Setsuna was as good as it was.

I doubt that...

Honestly, it is probably worth waiting a few months to upgrade anyways; I fully expect Nvidia to reveal their next set of Volta based GPUs and they will likely release this summer... There’s really no point in paying a premium markup for a 1080 when their will likely be a cheaper and much faster card coming soon.

I am pretty sure the reason why Twitch will win against Facebook is the same reason they are kicking ass against Youtube streaming: They actually seem to care about and communicate with their streamers in order to produce the best possible experience for streamer and viewer.

it’s amazing how Blizzard can convince me to play a game I only marginally like just to get a skin for a character I hardly play as... The Anna owl skin dragged me back into the game after a 6 month hiatus and it looks like this one will get me playing again too.

Here’s a crazy idea... Why doesn’t Bungie just listen to their players and let them play Destiny the way they want without invisible cool downs, activity caps, and point throttling? I’d argue that most of Bungie problem with players is that they tend to put their “vision” before what players want and it bites them in

You can, during the intial set up portion of the match you can sneak around the map and stealth kill enemies; but as soon as the digger starts up stealth goes down the drain and everything turns into tower defense.

Honestly, I used to think bigger screens were better for gaming until I picked up a 32" 4k monitor and started playing both my PC and PS4 Pro through it; now trying to play the Xb1 I bought my wife on our 60" 4k feels weird to me... On my monitor everything is right there and I never feel like I need to look around

So, in other words Bungie is adding all the stuff from D1 that they took away... Bungie was really listening to the players most of this would have been in the game day 1 instead of 6 months later.

I recently broke down and picked up AC:O over the holidays, and find it to be a good game with a lot of nitpicky annoyances and way too much mindless filler; it hasn’t managed to grab me the same way Black Flag has but I’d say it’s the best entry since.

I’m still surprised it’s taken this long for one of the big GPU producers to do this since programs like SweetFX have been around for years and do essentially the same thing...
