When was the last time you played a demo that required strategy to complete? Demos are not meant to be difficult, they are meant to let you see how a game plays.

Honestly, it feels great.
Yes, they adapted it to work with their game; that still isn’t a simple process. Essentially they needed to take all the gyroscopic data, the directionality of the joycon and it’s relative position to your initial calibration, and then use that to generate a grid that can be used to mimic the sensor grid produced by…
World of Goo’s joycon controls were designed specifically for the Switch version, they didnt simply take the Wii version and put it on the Switch and call it a day.
Too bad Skyward Sword’s heavy reliance on the Wii’s now dead motion controls makes it impossible to port without overhauling the entire game...
It’s been over a decade since I’ve actually played a game of D&D; but I do seem to remember a 3rd party supplement that came out just after the the switch from 2nd to 3rd edition that was all about cooking. It had rules for how to cook, feats, skills, information about edible monster parts, and even a couple of…
Be careful what you wish for... I remember when they made DS2 60fps and it broke the game causing gear to degrade twice as fast since it was linked to the number of frames a weapon was in contact with an object.
I just wish the sense of wonder and exploration was kept alive throughout the whole experience; once you hit about 500 moons the game starts to feel formulaic...
I bought Wolfenstein 2 on launch day for around $37 on pc... He didn’t save money.
As someone who 100% completed BotW months ago and hit 100% in Mario Odyssey yesterday I feel like I have to offer what is bound to be a very unpopular opinion: Neither game is all that revolutionary or even inovative for that matter.
Arbitrary timers are easily one of the top ten worst artificial difficulty modifiers in gaming; they are simply there to make something that would otherwise be simple more difficult. Take for instance Mario Odyssey’s timed scarecrow puzzles; none of these puzzles are really all that interesting, difficult, or even…
Hey Kirk, I’ve always wondered, do you use GPS in your car?
First off, watch Blade Runner... It is a masterpiece and easily one of the most influential and important sci-fi films of all time. With that said, you can get away with not watching it before seeing 2049; mainly because the film goes out of it’s way to make sure you understand the major plot points of the first film…
To be fair, most of Destiny 2’s weapons are mediocre...
You do know that William Adams, the main character in the game, along with all the other NPCs are actual historical figures in Japan, right?
Based on how much Dark Souls got pushed back I’d expect this to be sometime around the end of 2019...
I was under the impression that WoG was the better of the three CD-I games and that Zelda’s Adventure was the absolute worst...
The Vita’s rear touch pad would have been perfect if it had some sort of tactile indicators for what quadrant of the pad you were actually touching. It was fine in games that only required left/right differentiation but any game that had the touch pad split into fourths (or worse sixths) suffered from a lot of…
I still find it crazy that we live in an age where distributing demos to the public is easier than ever and we are still standing in lines for hours to play demos for 20 minutes...
CE collectables are almost always terrible quality and never look like what they are supposed to; this is why I was taken back recently by the fact that the survival bag that comes with Destiny 2's CE is actually pretty well made...
