I am sure the dock is just an hdd/ssd, upscaler, and network card; I doubt there is much else going on for processing power.

I wouldn’t hold your breath on it playing 3ds games.
How would it handle converting the two screens to one though?
As much as I am enjoying being cynical about the Switch, RDR1 and DkS1 are two of the best games of last generation; so I would support the heck out of that.
PS4 and Xbox One both have the ability to stream gameplay to a PC/Laptop and accomplish the exact same thing; and while they suffer from latency from streaming they don’t suffer from running off a modified tegra tablet chipset...
You are right, the Switch isn’t the same thing; mainly because it is in fact a Nvidia Shield...
I am more concerned with the cartridge size... Modern games sit in at the 20-50gb range before DLC. Couple this with the fact that onboard memory will more than likely be limited as well I can’t help but feel like Nintendo is setting themselves up for the same problem they had with the N64... Developers won’t put…
I already said it in a comment earlier, but Nintendo has successfully reinvented the Nvidia Shield. In fact considering it’s powered by Nvidia I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s internal components are simply a modified Shield board attached to Nintendo’s proprietary cartridge slot, controller, and docking ports.
If Nintendo was smart they would sell joy-con attachments with different layouts; this would let players who are used to the Wii U or PS4 layouts play comfortably, and it would allow for left handed players who like to play southpaw get a reverse offset stick arrangement.
Yay. Nintendo’s next console will be the Nvidia Shield! Wait a second...
It’s actually been a big thing since the Vault came out; Bungie has made their raids a race to the finish since day 1, offering exclusive bragging rights to any clan that accomplishes them first.
I would find this more interesting, and perhaps even more tragic if the lost their chance at worlds first due to no fault of their own; but the fact is that someone made a mistake, one that if they were as prepared as they claim to have been could and should have been avoided.
This is a prime example of why Streamer-culture sort of bothers me; no one could care less about the hundreds of other teams who may have made a mistake that cost them time and therefor the worlds first, but because Redeem is a group of popular streamers their mistake is news and somehow tragic...
Shriekers fire axion bolts too... Shriekers are most certainly not guardians.
Does anyone know if these still have the deteriorating thumb pad issues the launch controllers did?

I’ve been wondering for a long time why Rockstar hasn’t released a law enforcement DLC that allows you to play as a cop. Interestingly enough to the basic mechanics are already in the game it’s just a simple matter of making them work.
Oddly enough all three of these are valid arguments against human drivers as well...
I agree entirely, though I don’t think the trolley problem is stupid; it’s actually a fantastic moral dilemma that can be used to tell you a lot about a person, but it’s use in this context is misguided at best because at its base level the trolley problem is not a question of self preservation.
Probably because braking to prevent an accident isn’t always be possible, sure if something is sitting in the middle of the raid and you can see it from a distance you will be able to break in time without an issue; but if something darts in front of your vehicle, like a bicycle or deer for example, there may be no…
This article is a fine example of reductio ad absurdum; not sure if you are aiming for satirical sarcasm or sincere criticism though...
