This is true if you are dealing with a semi-automatic weapon at a reasonable range, but at close range against a machine gun no amount of zigging or zagging is going to let you dodge bullets; you simply can't move faster than a machine gun can fire.

Linearity and open world are not mutually exclusive; take Assassins Creed for instance, large open worlds with hyper linear plot lines. Sure there are side missions and other things to do but each part of the story happens in a specific order that can’t be changed.

More importantly: Mirrors Edge is nearly 8 years old... People are getting excited about a game that they probably either own already, have owned, or had multiple chances to get for free or pretty close to it in the past.

Just out of curiosity, what exactly did you find to be so disappointing about DS3? I personally found it to be a fantastic addition to the series, and a vast improvement over DS2.

That location from the thumbnail looks so much like the opening area of the Painted World of Ariamis...

I fully expected this to be about just how perfect that Roadhog/Birdie SFV mod is...

I agree with this.

That’s the point, you abandon your current ship and take the new one every time; if you aren't leaving the planet all you have to fix are the launch thrusters (which are a cheap fix) and then search for the next crashed ship to switch with. Eventually each ship will increase your total possible slots by one.

Now I am curious about how many words are in each language; every time I think I am close to one being finished I go from a fully translated dialog to one that I know none of the words for...

I am all for delays for quality, but this one doesn’t sound very good; there is something about saying a game was nearly finished but now they are delaying it and going full scale radio silent till it’s ready for release at some undisclosed time that doesn’t settle well with me.

I’ll wait for the complaints about how it gives you additional situational awareness and therefore some marginally tiny advantage, like when people where convinced that emotes in Destiny have unfair advantage to corner campers...

I’ll have to snag this, the last to ‘Go’ games are in my opinion the some of best mobile gaming has to offer.

I think the big thing to keep in mind with No Mans Sky is the fact that Hello Games had their studio destroyed and a good chunk of their work lost shortly after revealing the game.

How is that any different than Minecraft though, with the exceptions of mod content the vanilla Minecraft experience is the same; there are animals to kill everywhere for food, you have an abundance of resources in every direction, and enemies are quite easy to avoid.

All they had to do was drop his base health down to 150 like Tracer; sure he isn’t quite as fast as Tracer, but he does a great deal more damage and has a move that gives him temporary invulnerability. It would have balanced out.

How do you consider it to have more shallow survival systems?

Yes, I think the bigger point is that you can't travel between Minecraft seeds; creating a new seed is effectively creating a whole new game.

I actually sort of think this is the premise; that we are not seeing a wormhole to another dimension but rather a traumatic experience causing a mental break that leads to mass delirium across the survivors of MB.

Wait... Failed? MGSV had the best sales of the franchise, and walked away with critical acclaim; many even saw it as a contender for game of the year. Hell it sits in the solid 90s across all platforms on metacritic...

Can't wait to see Destiny tournaments start popping up...
