First off Spore gets a bad wrap, but it is actually a pretty great concept and works on a fundamentally fantastic way, it just happened to have terrible pacing and controls.

It’s questionable, considering that NMS is an online game I am sure there is a EULA that requires your approval, like many EULAs there is more than likely a clause about distributing video of the game without the expressed permission of the developer/publisher.

Day 1 patches are almost a guarantee these days, you have to assume that even right now as we speak HG is still working hard on the game trying to find and fix bugs, making minor adjustments, and keeping themselves busy improving the game. Just because it went gold 2-3 weeks ago doesn’t mean they just stopped working

You could argue that because of the scope of NMS and the claims that we will only ever see like 1% of the universe that HG has built you could almost argue that pretty much every video of the game is a spoiler since you are likely to see planets, creatures, fauna, etc... that you either haven’t seen yet or will never

I just had a mental picture of E. Honda dancing to Sandstorm... I feel like that should be his intro now.

Why would that surprise you? Consoles ship with older chipsets in order to save money all of the time. Plus if it’s been in development for the last year or two it would have likely been built around a chipset from that time period.

This is interesting, but at the same time I am more than a bit skeptical about it; mainly because that design looks so much like a Wii U gamepad with detachable Wiimotes, and frankly I feel as though both of those controls were what hurt the Wii and Wii U’s long term playability for me.

I disagree, D.VA is a great solo tank, her value is to distract the other team while the rest of your team pushes ahead; but when it comes to holding point Reindhart is still infinitely better at being a wall for your team to rally behind, and when you need to break an enemy line Winston will get in quick wreck people

Agreed.

I literally binge watched the entire 8 episode series yesterday, which is something I hardly ever do; and thought it was quite fantastic. Now I can't speak for anyone else, but he fact that it had a 5-star rating when I watched it yesterday would suggest it's a hit...

While this is true, line of sight is the issue; Mercy can just lock on and then duck and weave about while still healing, not to mention that she has self regen and a movement technique, Ana on the other hand needs sustained line of sight, loses situational aweness thanks to being scoped, and needs to waste her

I sort of disagree with the Zenyatta bit, mainly because he’s a simple toss and forget and you can easily peek around corners and throw out a quick heal and duck back without needing to worry about aiming; plus you get his ult which is pretty much short term invulnerability for your whole team.

Considering I watched someone try to have several close range ‘quick scope’ shootouts last night with her I’m inclined to agree that players need to learn her or stop playing as her.

These are pretty awesome, but I am way more excited for the BMO from the Lego Dimensions set. I will say that neither of them manages to get Jake right... There’s something about mini-fig Jake that reminds me of when he had his “man-baby” body, and the piece-built jake seems weirdly thin and small.

All they need to do to fix battery issues is add notification support so you don’t have to have the app open all the damn time... Seriously I would love to have my phone in my pocket while I go for a run, get a notification take a break to snag a Pokemon and then keep going; but since I use my phone for Spotify and a

Surprised to see Metro miss the list since it always seems like one of the most GPU intensive games out there at max settings.

I liked the Titan figure they released a while back and I've been waiting to see how the Warlock and Hunter would come out; I just hate that they pick the most generic looking armor sets...

It’s things like this that amaze me. Half nude actress on primetime national broadcast television is a-ok, cleavage and bikinis on animated women in a video game is bad...

Which would be troublesome if developers weren't already doing this to bring vertical slices and demos to conventions. They aren't bringing full game builds to these shows they are bringing small portions that have already been prepared to function as a sample of the game.

What numbers exactly? You posted a link to a ‘he-said/she-said’ tumbler post that has no numbers in it whatsoever nor does it have any marketing data to confirm its theory or even sources for its claims...
