I know it’s derivative, but I enjoyed ‘The Force Awakens’, and I’m one of those people who liked ‘The Last Jedi’ a whole lot. But ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ will go down as one of the all-time cinematic bed-shittings in history.

I’m more mad about the kiss thing. You can’t watch that and say: “Yeah, that was sure some platonic kissing there.”

Awww, it’s a good story, Yummsh! It transcends class boundaries. Everyone wants to look cool in front of their kid. Eight year old children can’t realize the extent of privilege, so there’s an entirely innocent joy at play here that makes this feel pretty nice.

Wow, in the US that kind of business savvy gets you the Oval Office.

It’s sort of like the snowball effect: Since you’re being charged less interest, you might find your motivation boosted by seeing your balance go down quicker. I’ve made a lot of use of this feature when building my office/recording studio in our basement. It’s very handy for writing down measurements, taking pictures of tricky areas, building a to-do list, etc.

That drives me nuts. Or having to scroll around the map to find the random spot where the name is displayed. If I zoom in, just give me all the street names for streets I can see. 

I’m sure Republican men everywhere will have some rude, nasty remarks for her.  And yet:

yeah i wish theyd go all out for efficiency vs power like i can’t use 1000 hp on the street as well as i would love to have crazy range since i don’t have a garage to charge in every night.

Luz Long was more than kind to Owens. And that is and has always been the problem.

Yup. The lack of anyone from Barry on this list is shocking. It was also the best thing that aired in 2019, imo. (Aside from maybe Fleabag, but those two are neck and neck.)

I have to mention Bill Hader, Sarah Goldberg and Stephen Root. They play some of the most difficult roles on TV and always manage to nail the impossible complexities of their characters. Hader can do so much without saying a word. Root’s work in the scenes where Fuches has to lure Barry into a trap to save his own…

What about Jared Harris and Stellan Skarsgard in Chernobyl?
