f.lux is great, but I think it reduces brightness/contrast as the day goes by.

I watched the first video, read the article and click play on the 2nd video. Then I stopped the 2nd video a couple seconds in thinking to myself "I get what happened here and I really don't need to see this part so I'm just not going to watch it".

Free sat TV and power plugs in every seat is an absolute game changer. I won't fly without em. Plus the extra legroom, plus the nicer seats, plus the better staff, plus the nicer check in process, plus the still cheap price... if Virgin flies there, I'll pay the tiny bit extra to fly with them. I LOVE Virgin America. No, it's not like it's a luxury palace in the air. But the atmosphere and service you get goes a LONG way. In my opinion, it's reputation is well deserved.

Virgin is good, but I think it's just a little overrated. The way people rave about it is weirdly disproportionate to how good it is. People act like Virgin is flying in a luxury hotel in the clouds where anything is possible. In reality, it's just an airline that's slightly nicer than most other airlines.

I also love it, as a tourist, in the summer. Other times I would think it was too cold, and as others have mentioned, probably a headache in October. Also, in the general area, it seemed to take a long time to drive anywhere. It seemed like most of the streets were not anything resembling straight lines.
