I honestly think in the case of something like this it wouldn’t work out. Too many people work on films like this to not leak that to the internet ahead of time. Of course if they paid everyone well enough that probably wouldn’t be the case, but I’m not sure FX artists get paid what they deserve.
It’s also worth noting that Luke’s character behavior is not that different than Yoda’s on Dagobah. Yoda was quite eccentric and funny. Luke ended up pretty similar.

Deep fakes and digitally generated voices have made pretty significant technological advances in the last 10 years and have very serious implications.
This is awesome. My background is Sound Design for haunted attractions (Knotts Scary Farm, Winchester Mystery House Unhinged, LA Haunted Hayride, Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor) and a lot of the same principles apply. Super fun read. Do this again with more sound design people!
