I’d assume that HBO had worked out how much they would get for the season, and the showrunners had to work out the storyline they could afford around that. I have no idea though, and I’m not sure we will find out until the actors start coming out afterward and filling in the blanks.

To be fair, she also said a shitload of stuff about burning everyone and killing everyone and stuff.

From what I understand about television production, it wasn’t exactly their choice how much money or how many episodes they got. I’m guessing HBO had to balance cost vs. benefit and the time they were given is what they settled on as the absolute minimum amount of time to rush through whatever story was left. It’s a

I do sound design in the haunted attractions industry (think haunted houses, escape rooms, etc) and I frequently have to edit together audio of voice actors screaming, crying, begging for their lives, etc for hours at a time. Sometimes the talent are friends of mine and people I care about, so it feels bad to try to

It makes sense to me that he would be impulsive about this. You’ve had a thing for a girl, you get naked together, you then almost die in a battle against magical creatures destined to destroy all mankind, then you have a big party afterwards and you’re named a Baratheon and given a castle. On top of all that, you’re

Anyone notice that in Iron Man’s video to his daughter/family he says that it’s been “10 years”, but in actuality it’s been 15 because it was basically 10 years at Infinity War, and then another 5 into the future with this film. Unless I’m missing something? It may have been done intentionally anyways, with RDJ

I just love the idea that Doctor Strange saw 14 million possibilities, and the one that works relies on a rat walking on the buttons responsible for pulling Ant Man out of the quantum realm 5 years in the future. Also FAT THOR is my hero.

The rest of the community can shit on this if they want, but I REALLY enjoyed last year’s movie. My wife (who is not typically a fan of this type of movie) really liked it as well. I’m happy to hear they are making a sequel and I look forward to seeing it.

Now playing

Not Lego, but my favorite Star Wars toy memory was getting this Micro Machines C3P0 head that opened up to reveal the cantina inside with Han, Greedo, etc. I got it for Christmas in 1994, and it quickly became my most-played-with toy for quite a long time. I would even grab my grandparents VHS camcorder and make

That is some excellent voice talent, and Ben Feldman is great in everything.

He’ll always be Charles Miner to me.

It’s a bummer that Affleck didn’t get a solid go at Batman. I would have liked to see what he wrote for his version of the character if he ever had the opportunity to make that film. When I think of Batman, I really think Affleck LOOKS like Bruce Wayne.

Nothing has replaced Mailbox for me fully, although I’ve found Outlook to be the next best thing. I’ve tried Spark and a few others (haven’t tried Airmail, but now I might). Mailbox was innovative and did great things, and then Dropbox bought it and eventually killed it. The bastards.

Does this mean Disney can release the original version of the Star Wars trilogy? Where are we at with that now?

Services like Spotify allow everyone to discover and experience any generation of music easily (even in the same playlist). As long as these services are around, no generation of music/bands will disappear from relevance.

My wife (who doesn’t really keep up with Marvel and doesn’t know any of the storylines going on right now) really enjoyed it. She noticed some stuff that I didn’t, like that the majority of the 90's throwback soundtrack songs were from female-fronted bands (Garbage, TLC, No Doubt, etc). I enjoyed it a lot myself, but

Would prefer Elvira Mistress of the Dark.

I agree. But it is certainly a fun thought.

And we know the White Walkers aren’t against striking deals with the living (see Craster).

Give one to Ti West.
