I could see that. They most definitely are fun, but I think my expectations were skewed bc Guy Richie can be a wildcard.
Also, Sherlock is written by Stephen Moffatt and Mark Gatiss of new Doctor Who fame... so if you watch DW and like the writing style and vibe, you'll enjoy Sherlock. It's very clever and fast paced.
Sherlock is on Netflix and it's absolutely fan-freaking-tastic. So check it out if you have time and enjoy.
