I wonder if this change will see an increase in the number of Chinese users adopting some flavor of Linux as their operating system of choice. It's secure, functional, and free! Also, depending on the distro you go with, it can go very easily on older hardware, which is what I'm assuming that most of these die-hard

I haven't tried it, but from what I read the optics are focused at infinity, so while the screen is close, that doesn't mean you have to focus closely, thus straining your eyes. You can relax your eyes as though you are looking at something off in the distance. Zero eye strain.

This is a problem they would like to overcome. Some people are more sensitive to conflicts of data when it comes to what your inner-ear is saying, and what your eyes are saying. I bet it's something you can train your brain to handle though. Over time you could probably lessen your sensitivity and train your brain

Think of it as having separate control for your neck and your body. Standing still, you can swivel your head around all you like to look around, and to actually turn your body you use the analog stick. I can see myself getting in a situation where I turn my head and manipulate something to my right, only to use the

It made me a little sad to see the creepy robot dude toss his Gameboy aside, before later tossing it in the garbage. I don't play my original toaster Gameboy anymore, but I still have it, and it is lovingly displayed on a shelf next to my old NES.

They were "premature" techs in 1994. That was 20 years ago. Stuff got better, and now the time is very ripe for a kind of rebirth of VR.

Still perfectly recognizable and functional. Honestly, they could change their logo to an animated GIF of that dancing banana from 2002, and as long as they continue to localize awesome JRPGS, I would be fine with it.

Getting thrown into nothingness was pretty much my beta experience with this game.

YES! I didn't even make that parallel before, but exactly like Persona.

I would love to see an open world Iron Man game where fighting terrorism as Iron Man is half the fun, and doing irresponsible and reckless things as Tony Stark is the other half.

I'm glad to see them go. If someone is going to make a superhero game, rather than churn out barely-passable crap in order to time it with the theatrical release in the hopes that it sells on hype alone, I want to see developers make super hero games because they want to make a good superhero game. They have a plan

Perhaps you've heard what the long-term strategy Oculus has adopted is? For now, the plan is to tether to desktop PCs, because that's where the performance is, but just like the high end PCs of a few years ago are the $300 Walmart laptops of today, performance can be found in smaller packages for cheaper.

Exactly. The monthly amount would be equivalent to about poverty level. It would be enough to survive at a very basic level, and you couldn't survive at all in many areas. Try living in Manhattan for $1,500 a month.

We already have remote robotic surgery, where a surgeon miles away can perform surgery using robotics on a patient. Still, it requires a person.

Workforce automation is a major hurdle facing our reality right now. Unemployment is high, and it's only going to get worse. We need to face the reality that not everyone that wants a job is going to be able to have one.

Ah ha. You got me. I'm the goose. Oh you.

I had the initial reaction that everyone else did, but once I calmed the fuck down and came to grips with reality, I realized that this is very good, very exciting news.

Okay, I'll take the bait.

They already outsource to China. The first devkits were made in China, using Chinese sourced parts, just like pretty much every single TV, phone, and game console we all enjoy on a daily basis.
