Perhaps you've heard what the long-term strategy Oculus has adopted is? For now, the plan is to tether to desktop PCs, because that's where the performance is, but just like the high end PCs of a few years ago are the $300 Walmart laptops of today, performance can be found in smaller packages for cheaper.

Exactly. The monthly amount would be equivalent to about poverty level. It would be enough to survive at a very basic level, and you couldn't survive at all in many areas. Try living in Manhattan for $1,500 a month.

We already have remote robotic surgery, where a surgeon miles away can perform surgery using robotics on a patient. Still, it requires a person.

Workforce automation is a major hurdle facing our reality right now. Unemployment is high, and it's only going to get worse. We need to face the reality that not everyone that wants a job is going to be able to have one.

Ah ha. You got me. I'm the goose. Oh you.

I had the initial reaction that everyone else did, but once I calmed the fuck down and came to grips with reality, I realized that this is very good, very exciting news.

Okay, I'll take the bait.

They already outsource to China. The first devkits were made in China, using Chinese sourced parts, just like pretty much every single TV, phone, and game console we all enjoy on a daily basis.

New devkits, different screen. Also with their new Scrooge McDuck money vault, they can afford to have screen manufacturers dedicate their efforts to Oculus-centric displays.

I wish my dad had done this instead. He tied a string around my tooth, then tied the other end to a pole outside and left me there. You know what? I didn't move. I just stood there hugging the pole for over a hour.

What I don't get is; Why don't we have decent XBox emulation yet? We have full speed Gamecube and Wii emulation and we have full speed PS2 emulation. (As long as you have a powerful enough computer.) Those systems are very different from the way a PC works, and the XBox is based of x86 architecture. Theoretically,

This is the most confusing piece of news I have read in recent memory. I was ready to laugh it off as a joke. Is it April 1st already? No? You mean it's still March? Oh wait, here's a Forbes article. You mean it's true?

I'm calling it now. Time Warner Cable, worst company in America 2014. EA, this doesn't give you a free pass. You were still on the list. We're watching you.

Me: Okay, I'll just have one can of Dew. I haven't had any in a while, and one won't hurt, right?

Lol, yeah it wasn't great. But it ran and got me from point A to point B, and that's all I asked of it really.

Maybe you have the wrong seat?

Is it bad that I don't know who that is?

Thanks. I'm glad too. But it wasn't THAT big a loss. I only paid $1000 for it. Biggest thing I was worried about is that it's parked right next to my apartment. I was afraid it was going to blow, and take the front of the building with it.

Felt this way about the original Gameboy Advance. I just really liked the way that think looked and felt. I even looked into a backlight kit to give my GBA the only real thing I felt the SP had over it.

Everything in moderation, right?
