While I would have liked a built-in lithium ion battery, I'm okay with AAs. I've got a ton of rechargeable AAs here, and I've got a few chargers for them too. When you have a five year old in the house, you can burn through a lot of AA batteries. I wonder how much money I've saved by not buying disposables on just

I'm looking forward to using this controller on my PC, and I'm glad they're taking steps to ensure that current 360 controller compatible games will work with the XBone controller.

So effectively, a gaming family of four will have to dole out about $240 annually in order to have the privilege of playing online, using the "share" function, and accessing the family Netflix account? Why does that not sound like such a great deal?

I don't play sports games. I think the last one I played was NBA Live 95. I watch this video and can't help but notice how the visuals are very, very close to photo real. Real enough, in fact, that some of the slightly unnatural movements, animation transitions, and goofy things like that big headed player and

A friend of mine won a Sega 32x through a sweepstakes for... I can't remember. Capri-Sun? Fruit by the Foot? One of those. I didn't think anybody every won those, but there he was, Sega 32x in hand.

I've played shooters that lasted about five hours the first time through and felt satisfied. I've played RPGs that took me hundreds of hours, and was left wishing it weren't over.

As of April 2009, (Can't find closer data.) Wii Fit is the Wii's third best selling game, with 18.22 million copies sold. (Impressive considering the fact that it's packed with the balance board.) The second best selling game was Wii Play with 22.98 million copies, which I think the fact that it came with a Wiimote

Nah. The Wii was outselling the competition three to one before Wii Fit was even released. I blame Wii Sports.

Oh, my Dreamcast and I had some good times. The first game I ever played on the thing was Sonic Adventure. Shenmue showed me a totally different level of quality in games that I had never seen before. Dead or Alive 2 captured my teenage eyeballs with all the jiggling and high kicking.

I'm trying to think of a single time where I was actually happy buying a console at launch, and I can't think of one. I think the harshest burn was when I got a Dreamcast at launch. I had such high hopes.

The problem is that people don't even realize that there is a different system. The Wii captured a different demographic, in addition to the die-hard Nintendo fans. It's not the Nintendo fans who have the problem of distinction between systems, it's that other demographic. The grandma who bought it for Wii bowling.

Submitted. I'm sure this little feature caused a flood of traffic to that Tumblr.

Probably, actually. Carmack himself said he's already thought of a way to correct for astigmatism through the software.

That's part of the beauty of the Rift. Previous VR attempts were exactly that... a screen in front of your eyeballs, with optics to try and focus it.

It's actually very comfortable and light. It's not really designed to fit in your pocket so you can take it with you anyway.

I am okay with this.

Hey lady. Your fly is undone.

Stupid Kinja's image upload thingy is being all stupid again.

You're welcome.
