fun fact: that abobo painting was purchased by the devs of the upcoming RCR:U game. its hanging up in their office! super awesome dudes

yup! check out my facebook. ive done over 200 paintings

i do what i can!

im gonna look into it. i didnt have plans to but it seems like a lot of people are asking about it

i paint what i grew up loving. this version is what is nostalgic to me and what i wanted to capture on canvas.

what size pixels did you use? kefaks tower is almost 1/6th of an inch pixels

yes i had to custom mix over 70 colors for this. ones that i knew i would be using throughout all 3 panels, i mixed up a bunch. i use little 4oz tupperware cups. they seal nicely to keep air out. i almost ran out of a few colors! haha

why paint fruit in a basket? why not just take a photo of it?

just because my artist name is 8-Bit Artist doesnt mean im not allowed to do 16-bit games

your typical acrylic paint like a liquitex. iruga, it is tedious, but i enjoy it and the end result is totally worth it!

oh im very open in that its basically just a paint by number system, except there are no numbers on the canvas. haha

i grid each individual canvas with a ruler and t-square

i had to do it in 3 separate 36x36 canvases. i certainly wasnt going to do 1 9 foot tall canvas

hey guys! thank you for showcasing this piece! keep in mind, im going to try and donate this to the Childs Play dinner auction this december to help out their charity!

yeah, i only started to get back into painting a lot in 2013. from like mid 09-end 12, i only did a piece here and there. got some big stuff planned for this year! something that i was working on back in 09 but stopped because of what had happened to my dad.

hey mike! good old myspace! hahaha. make sure to check out my facebook page. ive been painting quite a bit lately!

Frootsy is an awesome guy! I saw this and just had to paint it! The painting is 42x21 using almost 1/6th of an inch pixels.
