This country is becoming a Dark Ages wasteland.

Well twirl your fedora and dunk your cronut in your cold brew Mikey.

100s of millions of others turn balefully toward you and in one voice say...

“...k

Have you watched it? This show and her behavior have little to do with reality, as least not the one you’re seemingly holding the description of this scene to.

Bizarre tone here. Instead of “centering on the victim” you’re leveraging her abuse into some weird tone policing argument, while treating her abuse as a handy prop.

+1 for the zillion times you’ve spoken to a person who says they’re fiscally conservative but then tries to reassure you/themselves they’re not actually horrible with “but I’m liberal on social issues. Cool, how many times have you acted on those liberal social views and voted for a Democrat?

Cooper’s reaction should be evidence enough of just how deep the corruption in our society goes, that when someone tries to change things for the better it is supposed “good guys” like him that prove to be stumbling blocks arguing in favor of policies that have made us miserable failures and a laughing stock on the

Since the start of Trump’s turn, with a Congress completely under his control, the national debt increased $2 trillion. But somehow, the burden of budgets and debt is always placed on the left. It’s time we let that shit die.

The same sick twisted world that elected a guy president after an old tape of him bragging about sexually assaulting women surfaced. At least he wasn't dancing!

She’s only saying that AOC used a slur because she knows Trump supporters don’t fact check and that they will fill in the blanks all on their own and spend the rest of the day hating AOC for her imaginary slur against a decorated military gen.

To all of you who are about to come in and whoop and holler about Chuck & Nancy tag-teaming Trump and the Indiana Shelf Elf...

Former Hill staffer here...

Easy solution: Fire any man who is uncomfortable working with women.

So...why time served? How much time has he actually served anyway? If prosecutors were originally looking for 1-3 years, and he didn’t fulfill the requirements of staying out of prison via his plea deal, (which he didn’t), then he should be sentenced to the 1-3 years the prosecution originally wanted. Ant time served

“Man, I feel like an outcast.”

I think it’s even worse than that. The way these stories get written, it’s almost like the media just accepts that voter suppression is just another perfectly valid tactic a party can use to win an election.

So rather than trying to deny it happens (impossible) voter suppression instead gets reframed as something like:

I choose to work for non-profits/government agencies. It’s at least some way of serving the populace. I’d rather do that than work for a corporation. Sure, I may be sacrificing higher wages, but at the end of the day, I can honestly say I love what I do, and I’m proud of it.

This guy deserves a medal, not jail.

Eh, I don’t so much feel bad.  I don’t think people should be threatening their families or anything like that, but I’m not particularly brokenhearted that these assholes had their privacy violated.  It’s not like Christine Blasey Ford knows what that’s like.
