It was reported as a “surprise”, because the original premise that the candidate usually doesn’t show up holds true.

Even the most diehard HRC fans I know (people who have been longing for her to run since 2004) ONLY talk about stopping Trump. You can think that everyone loves Clinton if that makes you happy. But it is not true. And I suggest you prepare yourself for this reality. Because come January 20...you’re in for an awakening.
