The goal of the Boring company wasn’t to build car tunnels.
The goal of the Boring company wasn’t to build car tunnels.
I just think they missed an opportunity by not locating HQ in Boring Oregon.
Who could’ve seen this coming!?
“oh man i’m so glad this truck has ballistics glass because of all the war zones i drive through”
Uh.... how would me suggesting that Trump should be in prison make me a Republican? I will NEVER vote for that party in my lifetime.
In all the years I’ve ever owned a truck, I didn’t once think “Man, this thing is great, but it’s just missing the ability to be a boat too!”
Oh, and on the third quarter call, Musk reiterated that the Cybertruck would be coming next year, but he wouldn’t go into any sort of details.
My neighbor’s Ioniq 5, a gorgeous car with impeccable seeming fitment, sings as it drives...
When you build what has been ordered, it’s not surprising that every unit is sold. Tesla isn’t pushing cars onto dealership lots.
I am with you on that. For the money, there are several more attractive and better built options in the next 1-3 years.
“Musk says the company is set to sell every single vehicle it can produce”
We are adding a second vehicle to our house, and we want an EV mid-size SUV.
First gear: I don’t believe a single word that comes out of that dude’s mouth. Musk is a perfect example of why CEOs need to keep their mouths shut when it comes to anything other than legitimate business discussions. He is the primary reason I will never buy a Tesla.
Fourth gear:
Too little, too late. People have…
One issue with AVs is that they aren’t the real answer to traffic and congestion that people make them out to be—the real solution to that would be a proper, working public transportation system. Too bad America spent the last half-century or so destroying what they had of that.
We already have self-driving car technology - it’s called a “bus”.
And yet here you are still reading them
I'm waiting for the class action lawsuit against Tesla for fraud, taking all that money for FSD and never delivering, and no hope of ever seeing it
FSD seems like one of those things that is totally feasible to someone that knows a little about tech, but every single engineer working behind the scenes knows damn well these things will literally never be released into the wild.
Self Driving can be great machine-learning tool for a second set of eyes for accident avoidance - so I think its a worthwhile endeavor. As well, there’s lots of use cases with semi-controlled enviroments (dedicated bus lanes, container ports, airport shuttles, etc)
