Doesn’t that describe every Chrysler from 2006?
Doesn’t that describe every Chrysler from 2006?
Chinese translation:
Wow we have a convertible now!
You know Elon over promises everything.
are you familiar with basically every single windshield, fixed side window and rear glass on any car manufactured in the last, oh, 40 years? because they are all just glued in place. the old rubber gasket with locking ring went away about then....
you used to glue sunroofs onto nuclear weapons? sweet gig!
Or a safety clipping system that can prevent the roof from taking flight in case of adhesive failure.
The previous roof flew off too?
Tesla: Our build quality is equal to 80s GM.
How common is it to replace the roof glass? What has to happen to a vehicle to make that necessary?
If I were Tesla Id be checking to see if theres any link between the adhesive on the first with the adhesive on the second. There may be a bad batch out there. They probably use the same stuff on both models since its a similar application. This repair may have been done with the same batch as the production Y.
I can translate:
Yes, but at the very least those are supposed to come off. I’m sure a number of times, people simply forgot to latch them...somehow...
I think you’re critiquing design language and value-determined brand coherence more than the overall look of the car. Do you honestly think they look similiar? Does a 370 look like an RCF to you? I think you’re just trying to pick something new apart to make yourself feel like you’ve had original thought...
It always reminded me of the RX8, which IMO held up extremely well design wise (esp compared to the 350z)
What I just posted:
It definitely looks a bit less edgy and perhaps more like a grown-up car than the last gen. I also like the hint of Z-car in a rear quarters. Certainly much, much cleaner overall than the Supra.
