Real men? Who are the fake men then? What a dumb term. Anyone who wants an electric truck will be happy with more storage. Only an idiot wouldn’t find it manly enough.

I was confused by that too. Is there really a such thing as a three row crossover? Wouldn’t the name crossover fit a vehicle like the new Mustang SUV better?

Dude the vehicle is worth it. You know what the problem is? So many people buying three row SUVs for no reason. New car buyers are running away from sedans like crazy.

This sums up my confusion about people’s car buying preferences. I know single people with one dog who have a three row SUV. Like huh? People are not just buying too much car, they’re buying the most they possibly can in most cases.

Most people buying them aren’t doing work, so bed size isn’t the biggest issue honestly.

Not for their scenario, a frunk is better. Or a truck cover. But if you use the truck a lot that cover might be in the way of stuff you’re stacking high, so a frunk would be really the best solution. In a work truck, who cares if the frunk is muddy?

E-150 is a van that Ford already makes, I believe. This should still retain the F-150 name as it is a big deal. Maybe F-150 eco-ecoboost?

DISRUPTION. Someone get this man truckloads of VC cash.

Hmm, but then you’re only moving one car at a time. If only we had some sort of high capacity vehicle to put on those rails, to move a lot of people at once.

Why not just put them on electric sleds? What’s the worst that can happen?

That just makes too much sense to do it in the US. We’d rather roll back everything, because business.

Hydrogen could be an option. Eliminates the range issue.

Tesla has yet to release an EV truck, so that makes no sense. Both trucks come out the same year. Ford has already publicly demonstrated the drive train, really don’t care about the design. It’s gonna look like an F-150. They’ll reveal it next year, a year ahead of production. Which is normal.

Who cares? They come out the same freaking year lol. If you’re determined to give Tesla a cookie for making their prototype first, go ahead. I think Ford is actually gonna have to add some polygons and take time to paint their prototype first before showing it off lol.

I had a versa as a rental. Worst vehicle I have ever driven. An actual shitbox.

86 has got to be in the argument somewhere

It’s fair to be skeptical of Tesla, who has yet to sell one truck and their first truck is a massive weird shaped metal tank.

They don’t care about that stuff. Someone ought to try to make a real but also affordable electric work truck. Get those fleet sales and pivot to consumers as they ramp up production. Judging by how things are going, the first real EV work truck will be the F-150 EV. Comes out the same year as the Cybertruck.

Doesn’t matter, because hype! The bed design on the cybertruck makes it useless as a work truck. This is the eco friendly bro truck that a ton of celebs and social media influencers will buy up. Nobody is gonna have a good time trying to use this thing for work.

The cult of Musk is only rivaled by Scientology IMO.
