Yes, there absolutely was. Ok, it does require about 5 minutes of work to remove, bag, and store each panel but it is a full convertible and it has a hard top roof.  And since you didn’t specify “sold new in the US” I am going to say it counts.

Best bar fight I’ve seen in a long time. That’s not fair to bar fights though, most bar fights at least a real punch is landed. And the participants are too drunk to run across an entire track width the moment the bigger guy gets angry.  LeMastus is indicative of 95% of Trumpers: trash talk all day long online, throw

Every once in a while you get a decent name like Matt Brabham (son of David Brabham). Credit where it’s due though, SST doesn’t aspire to be anything more than it is. It’s dumb goofy filler fun between big racing series. And it’s working! They’ve been around for 8 years now and they have a steady schedule, TV airtime,

Minor correction: Arie Luyendyk stuck with the IRL during the Split. He started in CART, but when the series split he stayed with the IRL until he retired.  So he does count as a driver who went the IRL route.

Everyone always says “Tony screwed it all up” but that just isn’t true. Tony spent four years trying to get CART to listen. He stood up for track promoters who were getting stiffed by CART. He stood up for the Indy 500 which was “just another race” to CART’s owners. He wanted to see costs brought down and he wanted to

Took the words right out of my keyboard.

Absolutely we need to pursue alternate fuels. Electrification faces some serious shortcomings that nobody is addressing:

The chassis itself remained intact (surprisingly well mind you considering the impact and the resulting fire it went through). The rear half of the car was the entire drivetrain and isn’t technically part of the chassis.

If I’m in Romain’s shoes, I’m retiring on the spot. Nobody ever gets that lucky twice in their life. Walk away while you still can mate.

I got into it because they host a race 15 minutes from my doorstep at one of the horsetracks.  For $35 it’s an awesome way to spend a Saturday night.  The teams are super chill and love talking to fans (except for KTM for some reason).

You’re both right. Indian has absolutely whooped HD’s ass since returning to AFT and HD is losing money hand over fist.  Beating Indian would require investing money HD doesn’t have.

You are thinking far too big

I owned a Vehicross for 3 years. One of the best cars I’ve ever bought. I only had a single proper breakdown (seized accessory belt tensioner at 160K I knew was on the way out, but threw the belt 2 days before I was set to replace it). it was surprisngly comfortable and usable for being such a small SUV and got good

FWD model so it’s not for anything adventurous, unless you’re adept and not unreasonably ambitious.

I’m working on some of the ECUs for autonomous cars and I can answer some of these questions for you:

F1 does enforce alignment and tire pressure settings, as well as rotation. Alignment is checked in parc firme and the pressures are checked before and after the race (part of the 2022 rules is mandating tire pressure sensors that the FIA can monitor during the race as well).

Just wait till the autonomous cars come. They’re all going to cost six figures or more (all of that fancy hardware and incredibly complex software doesn’t come cheap, no matter what Tesla wants you to believe). Which means the average person won’t be able to buy one, they will only be able to rent through ride sharing

The people who constantly crap all over Pirelli have zero idea what they’re talking about. Those 2013 failures were all directly caused by the teams running their tires completely outside of Pirelli’s specifications (alignment, pressures...hell they were even running the tires backwards. Which, yes, is a thing for

I get that NASCAR is trying to reduce contact at the track but...no practice?  Seriously?  So the first time the cars go on track at the fastest track in North America is when they’re gridding up for the start?  What the actual fuck NASCAR?  How in the shit is that supposed to work?  Especially after a driver damn
