Maybe they sync up with each other to make sure they are going at the same speed. If you are going back wireless only some of them might stutter in the far reaches of the castle while the ones closest play through. This could cause the song to be at different points depending on location messing up the whole “sync”…

That overlooks the fact that Reminders are not even available on the Google Calendar site yet though. I was just looking into it for work and while the apps let you do it, the web has a we are working on it tag.
