Not the best Z Nation episode ever, but I wasn’t bored. Lots of funny and this show tickles me with their commitment to bat shit crazy. It’s how I like to imagine a zombie Apocalypse would be.

I was gonna say ‘twinkfluenza’.

I still almost can’t believe that he really said “MY MAN!”

Eh, I had fun watching it. Regardless of how much more improved the series becomes, I’m usually game for anything as long as it doesn’t feel like it’s dropping into the worst of Asylum’s movie badness. I suppose it helps that this show has a solid cast, if nothing else.

I was thinking about rewatching Superman Returns the other day, and I was thinking “Who played Lex Luthor in that one again?”

He’s got a bad case of the “career is about to end due to sex scandal”-itis.

It’ll turn out to be a minor issue.

Another one bites the dust.

Eh. What he said is pretty standard therapy speak. I do think him being famous helps get his point across. Which isn’t a bad thing! It’s a very good thing and would be nice to see more celebs use their celeb powers for good.

Those movies sound just like “X-men horror movie”, like they were pitched in an elevator and won’t turn out very good.

That’s what I’ve encountered with these people, too. They all have guns and at least occasionally hunt, so they think they’re smarter and will have no problem surviving and fighting off enemies while all of the soft pansy liberals will die in their Prius traffic jam. It’s everything they want. Of course, meanwhile

The number of people I’ve worked with who were practically salivating about the collapse of society has always terrified me. I’m not saying they would destroy society but I’m not convinced they would even push a button to stop it. They all think they would come out on top.

I love that the greatest fantasy for conservative Christians is the fall of civilization so they can start murdering the unclean heathens.

Abs are a plus for sure.

Sean, stop burying the fucking lead. It’s the weapon that was used by Blake Burt!

The worst part for my money is the look of glee and joy on Batman’s face near the end. That was just wrong a wry smile or something would have been appropriate. Batman reacting like he was stoned off his ass and a friend just showed up with White Castle is another.

Good thoughts from Harmon. Personally though, the main thing that keeps the darkness at bay for me is running long distances. Not an option for some, I realize, and not advice Dan would ever proffer. But I notice myself slipping into a depression whenever I haven’t run for a while. Wether it’s the endorphin release,

AS someone who has been depressed since maybe 2 years now what he said kind of helps. Not because he’s famous but because I’ve never seen someone word it the way he does. Depression sucks man.

I cannot agree strongly enough with the “We put ourselves under so much pressure to feel good. It’s OK to feel bad” statement. One of the most important things we ought to teach kids is that it’s not only just OK to feel sad or upset or even angry at times, it’s right to feel like that sometimes.

I like Andy. That is all.
