You have to consider the likelihood that this series is set several decades into the future, so many forms of physical disabilities may be cured or rectified with artificial limbs (after all, this series is all about extremely lifelike robots).

Yeah, it's part of the game/role-play that is WW. William chooses the white hat, and things go from there — the park's narrative may have started to unfold for him on the "good guy" path. He and his coworker are well aware of that, because it's part of the game of WW. Now whether the narrative continues along that

The fact that there are even child hosts in WW (three are revealed in Episode 2) raises questions, indeed.

Z Nation follows the tradition of the schlocky, low-budget zombie movies of the 70's and 80's.

Basically, the writers engaged in Trek technobabble.

Agreed. But I do think the chances of renewal are about even, and I am not saying that as a rosy fan optimist. There are several practical reasons why, as I just noted above, which explain why HACF has managed to get renewed twice.

FINALE SPOILER:

The last few episodes have been jumping around, pulling plot twists within one episode, that it wouldn't surprise me if in the finale, Cameron and Tom have already returned from Japan.

This may not be worth anything, but the promo for next week's two-hour finale calls it the *season* finale, not "series" finale.

>> I really hoped Netflix would have picked up the show for a season or two if AMC decided to cancel it.<<

After thinking about this some more, I think MiB is a human — he's a straight-up evil dude. Another poster here imagined his life outside of Westworld as being a loser office drone worker who saves up his paltry salary to come to Westworld once a year, probably to rape Dolores. I bet he has a shrine to her in his real

My mistake. The sheriff was a white host. (He was the one who malfunctioned when the man and woman guests joined his posse.) But there is a black deputy host listening to him, and his outfit looks suspiciously similar to the Blazing Saddles sheriff's. There are several other ways he could have been dressed so as not

Fuzzy was (probably) joking.

It's at the 16:05 mark. It's a gunslinger host, who spins his gun.

Seriously — I could see your idea serving as a flashback episode that reveals the origin of the MiB.

Yeah I caught that, and the basement level with the globe statue. But I think these are just Easter Eggs. Episodes 2 and onward will establish that this cannot logically be a continuation of the original movie, sorry.

Perhaps we'll see how things can play out differently with guests involved. Maybe in the next episode, a guest befriends Teddy on the train. Then they go to the saloon together, and the guest tags along with Teddy and Dolores to Dolores' ranch where the guest can then help Teddy save Dolores' family.

I think what you noticed are simply Easter Eggs. They do give the impression that this could be a sequel to the original movie, but I bet as the other episodes play out, we'll see that this series is set in its own continuity, and additional events will wipe away any logical possibility that this is a sequel.

Or that the park isn't even on Earth, and everything is set in a far-off indefinite future time period.

Season 1 finale twist?
