I watch iZombie, too, but feel I can't say that one is better than the other. Other than for focusing on zombies, each is so different from the other.

The fungal non-zombies brought to my mind The Last of Us. That video game probably inspired the Z Nation producers when it came to them. (And I see nothing wrong with that borrowing, considering the nature of this series.)

The traditional low-budget zombie movies from the 80's and early 90's tended to be cheesy, peppered with comical gore, and lightheartedness. It's from this zombie movie genre that Z Nation borrows its inspiration.

Her American accent was good, and she was cute. She made the best of what was written for her (which wasn't good).

The Lynyrd Skynyrd episode was the best. I learned something about the band and their music, and it made me interested in checking them out, and I think I'm the last person who would be interested in them. Maybe Crowe should have done a mini series about this band instead.

This writing was exactly the kind of dialogue spouted by the characters.

I just re-watched that scene when Dom is cleaning herself up and, indeed, that is an Ouroboros on her upper-right shoulder. In fact, it appears identical to the design used for the Millennium series logo! *squee* This means I can pretend Mr. Robot and Millennium are set in the same universe!

Note how Angela and Ollie treat Elliot, and imagine that Elliot is Angela's ex, whom she still cares for. And you start to notice that Angela's and Ollie's behavior toward Elliot fit more.

As I implied below, maybe the project is an experiment that seeks to prove we live in a computer simulation. It requires a lot of energy (gigawatts, Marty!) — like, it's a super collider kind of thing — and it isn't entirely safe to use: it leaks radiation, which is what killed Angela's mom and Elliot's dad, who

8/8 is also Father's Day for the Chinese.

Coven should have been its own TV series. It felt like the first season of a new show: The concept, characters, setting and mythology all lent themselves to being expanded upon over multiple seasons. I for one wanted to see another season of it, picking up where the last episode left off.

I also wonder if her possible Ouroboros tat is an homage to the Chris Carter series Millennium. (The tat was worn by members of the Millennium Group, an end-of-the-world cult comprised of many who were former FBI agents.) Excellent series that has a cult following. (JJ Abrams is obviously a fan, since he ripped

In your repeated viewings, have you noticed that it seems implied that Elliot and Angela once dated, and maybe were even engaged?

Why not both?

I am expecting this. The mockumentary framing is just odd at the moment. My vibe tells me it's a set up for a situation where realities will cross later this season. They're going to up-end it, breaking through the 4th wall with it.

A possible symbolic hint for this theory: White Rose is fixated on time pieces. A simulated reality could be compared to an elaborate self-running watch. It was created eons ago by a Watchmaker/s, who started it, and has left it unattended.

Yeah I think the backstory is that White Rose purposely hired a little girl who resembled a child version of Angela.

So here's what I'm thinking could be revealed: Esmail may be wanting to explore next season that crazy theory that reality is a simulation. The idea is that technology advances to such a point that inevitably generations of humans long ago have already recreated reality to where it's nearly undetectable, and we are

Logically, the little girl was probably an actress that White Rose called a casting agency for to do this job. Her appearance was intentional as well, most likely — possibly resembling a child version of Angela, right down to the similar outfit.

I'm a terrible hummer, but I can imagine the Rey theme instantly. It has a Sugar Plum Fairy sort of soft dainty melody about it.
