I loved how much of this book was just people dying in gruesome ways in the Outback.

This. This is good. There is so much fanfare about 'releasing the dolphins' and 'releasing the whales!' with ZERO regard as to what is right and correct for them. Releasing these animals back into the wild is NOT always the right choice. We watched this play out with Keiko a few years ago. He was moved to the Oregon

Try the gluten free beer they said, it tastes good they said...

"The Flash's completely red one piece suit isn't red and one piece-y enough" is one of the craziest fanboy complaints I've seen.

Ugh. I really, really, really hope they aren't setting up a redemption arc for Ward. He does not (and should not) be brought back into the fold. He's crossed too many lines for that nonsense to happen.

Is everything I see in this perfect? Nope. But it looks like a show (shows) willing to have fun with fun characters.

Yeah, but he willingly killed other SHIELD agents. Killed Hand. Killed Patton Oswald. He's a Nazi that is too stupid to know he is one, nor does he have the agency to think for himself.

I'm very much hoping Ward gets turned into the big-bad of season 2 or at least one of them. Full transform him over the coarse of the season into a full fledged Marvel villain. Many have suggested Taskmaster which sounds just fine with me.

SHIELD: Damn. I was hoping that Ward would be gone for a while. Like all of season 2 while. Sorry to the actor, because he really managed a bang up job the last few episodes. But of all of the Hydra fallout, Ward is the most prominent cost. I'll be sorry to lose that.

That was one of the things I didn't like in nu-Who, when it was explained that was merely the sound of "leaving the break on."

AGENT. COULSON. IS. AN. AVENGER. IT IS CANON. CAN'T TAKE IT BACK! That look on Coulson's face when Fury said "Exactly."

Coulson says the TAHITI thing was a "hail mary" in case an Avenger died — and Fury says an Avenger did die. Meaning Coulson. And Fury only has a handful of people he trusts, a smaller number all the time — so he needs Coulson alive.

he's the guy who said that Chapel transferred off ship after Kirk fucked her so that "strong women" thing? Don't really see it happening.

This is why we can't have more female directors. There are too many inexperienced men who have to go first.

The things I mentioned are things he is proud of, he enjoys thumbing his nose at the science collective, and constantly rains crap on scientists who give him ANY amount of grief for the wildly inaccurate ways he uses his "talent".

Yeah, but what kind of defense is "well, I sucked the least"?

"No, there are no whales in the upcoming film, but there will be some mysterious new creatures known as John Harrisons"

For the record, Orci does not have a "written by" credit on a single episode of Fringe or Sleepy Hollow.

10 bucks says he somehow incorporates some kind of misunderstood/ignored "truther" character who was right all along.

"It is highly illogical to hire someone who's never directed, let alone directed a $200M blockbuster, to direct this."
