After a couple years of an uncompetitive TLX GT, it seems Acura is serious about winning races. As much as I’m glad Acura even bothered to race the TLX, seeing the NSX take on the rest of the field would be awesome.
Thought I would share my amazing experience going to the GP of St. Pete just over a week ago.

A local small filmmaker came out to the most recent Drag Racing event at Texas World Speedway. It’s an 1/8th Mile Arm-drop drags event that occurs once a month down the pit lane. His trailer is probably the best burnout video I’ve ever seen. Enjoy in Beautiful HD.

For me, that’s David Frieburger and Mike Finnegan from Roadkill. After meeting them, I can confirm that they are the two coolest guys walking the planet.
Everything that can go wrong, will go wrong. That’s what I learned yesterday on Power Tour.
I can’t even begin to believe how large the turn-out was for the kickoff. I walked 5 miles in total looking at as many cars as I could, but damn was it cool.
Today involved the journey from Minneapolis to Madison to check-in as a Power Tour “Long Hauler”. A luckily uneventful trip, but our convoy did pick up another for a little while, a North Dakotan with a 4th Gen Camaro SS:
