Based on the comments, I'm glad I'm not the only one with a little common sense here. If they can afford the damn things, so be it.

I thought this at first, but I think the objective was to see that the virus would look like after several generations in a shorter period of time. I'm giving the guy the benefit of the doubt. He could be a mad scientist. Who knows?

I've been brought up to abhor "swear" words by my parents. They never swore around us, and we were never allowed to swear around them. It's worked really well as I *almost* never swear.
