My God...good job on that car, I’ll be it’s a rocket
When I bought a John Deere tractor the dealer proudly tells me the entire hood panel is made from a plant-based material. I think it was soybeans. It’s practically impossible to dent it.
It’s a one-ton, son.
Love this. I built a full-house flathead for my ‘51 Ford. They sound great.
Yes there’s water jackets in the head, but since that open side of engine isn’t producing any heat to speak of, no need for cooling. No need for oiling up top either with valves in block.
No oil or water needed on the open side of the engine. Valve-in-block design doesn’t any oil up top.
The coolant doesn’t flow from left to right side of engine. So the right side pump can be running with coolant in this video if he chose to do so.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA this is gold, pure gold

Biblical? please. Save that category for 3" hailstones. I’ve seen them come down, and it’s absolutely terrifying. They literally kill cattle from impact.
This turbineguy, I like him...

LOL you called automated location services “complexity bling! yo!”
Automatically sending an accurate location with a 911 call is more than just “the complicated solution”. How useful will your address numbers be when you’re choking and can’t physically talk to the 911 call-taker? (we had this happen on our 911 network, and the teenage girl had just lost consciousness when the officer…
It’s just getting rolled out in some areas. It was a slow process, for several reasons, the biggest of which was a little small technicality that texting was designed/built as a best-effort service. Let that sink in.
This!
Sherri you are action-packed with issues.
LOL no doubt. I read about this a long time ago, and was always fascinated by the thought of WWI fighter pilots firing bullets that are literally hitting the prop. I think it actually caused at least one crash IIRC.
The British were first to mount forward-firing guns on the upper wing — shooting over the propeller. But that made aiming hard, and it put the guns out of the pilot’s easy reach when they jammed. The French took the next step. They put metal deflectors on the propeller so the pilot could fire straight through the…
HAHA I will! It’s a steel coupe, not exactly common. A guy I know saved one in much worse condition, literally pulled it from a river bank. If you don’t understand the craftsmanship and talent and pride in creating something beautiful from a rusty scrap pile I’m guessing a large portion of this hobby is leaving you…
