That reminds me of the ‘92 my wife had. With induction/Exhaust from the SHO shop & a 75hp hit of N2O is was surprisingly quick for what it was. I outran many an unsuspecting SS396 at the stoplight drags.
My 1992 SHOs (my wife & I both had them) were 4 wheel disc. I believe the rotors & calipers were the same as standard Taurus. They had a unique brake bleed procedure. You had to jack up the drivers side rear wheel as there was a proportioning valve that restricted rear brake pressure & sent it to the front.
