Agreed. I think this has been the reason for his decline over the past several years. Even if his back isn’t in “pain”, soreness, stiffness, not being perfectly limber can wear on a player, especially in golf where these subtle feelings can have a much larger effect on one’s game.

The XV is sluggish compared to even the base forester. It does feel great to drive however and the looks are pretty rugged and cool. The forester does have significantly more storage and feels roomier; also feels brighter with optional gigantic moonroof.
This must be region specific. Here in New England we have one of the largest Subaru communities in the world, and many of the wrx/sti owners are normal, calm-minded adults. Sure it can atrract hothead, immature drivers too but this behavior is not indicative of the "typical Subaru" driver.
