The win animation in Spider Solitare (Windows 98) had confetti of two different colors appear on the screen at a time. A great way of passing the time as a group was trying to predict which two colors would come up on the screen next.

I remember my elder sister showing (a very excited) me screen savers on the computer when I was young. We would just sit infront of the computer for minutes staring at pipes or something equally stupid. Now the whole thing seems pointless and I don't even have a screen saver anymore.

Make sure to write out your best heckles so you don't forget them Shitty Jimmy!

Childern of Men says so much about such fundamental issues that I feel that it will always continue to be relevant one way or another.

Sorry for sounding like an idiot but the book's name is 'Nothing Is True and Everything Is Possible'. 'Nothing is true and everything is permitted', on the other hand is the slogan of the assassins from the videogame Assassin's Creed based on the novel Alamut. For a second I was wondering what the connection between

Not really but from the comments in the review she sounds like the queen of niche sci-fi films. Any recommendations?

It is a very under appreciated film with some interesting thoughts on religion and belief systems. The actress who played the suspicious lady did a great job. Also, this movie made me take note of the big events that happened in my birth year so when I travel back in time I'd be able to prove that I'm the real deal.

Aloo paratha with mango pickle is the unbeatable combination.

I love Pav Bhaji! Though it is usually made with a mix of different vegetables not just potatoes and tomatoes. 'Bhaji' literally means a mix of veggies. The other famous street food in Mumbai called Vada Pav is also really great.

Though a lot of places do South Indian food better, Saravanaa Bhavan is pretty good. I don't like the texture of their idlis too much.

How did Doctor Strange get nominated for Makeup And Hair?

Yes to this!

The soundtrack for New Moon is almost as good as the movie is bad.

When you are reading the books they just create a mind space where you'd accept anything Meyer hurls at you. It doesn't seem so bad when you're reading it but try and sell somebody else on the concept and you realize how stupid all of it is.

While I second Will Harris's resolution if I decide to watch 2 movies a week like Katie I will go broke within the month. It's also a source of great sadness for me how easy it is to resolve to watch 200 movies a year when I would have to give up on my life completely to achieve the same with normal length books. My

Ladies and gentlemen, 2016. The gift that keeps on giving. Even when everyone wishes it wouldn't.

Not only is the tune catchy as hell but the lyrics are also bad enough to make you regret ever having heard the song in the first place.

Haven't played Planet Coaster yet. But RollerCoaster Tycoon featured heavily in my childhood so I'm planning on getting it one of these days. There is something so satisfying about controlling a theme park.

Just the other day I was thinking that 2014 was really great in terms of both the range as well as the quality of films. Other movies that ranged from good to great were:
Force Majeure
The Immigrant
The Grand Budapest Hotel
Gone Girl
Edge of Tomorrow
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
X-Men Days of the Future Past
Big Hero 6

The library? That’s for plebs.
But seriously to fix my issue I think I need to smash my phone with a rock first. The fact that libraries continue to be such safe havens makes me believe that there’s still hope for our species.
