It’s important to remember that just because you don’t have a use for these places doesn't mean that no one else does.

The video is great but there’s something even more satisfying about reading a well-written baseball story.
I live around a bunch of these morons, too. The oil change places are full of them each weekend. Like you, I’m not a fan of those who judge someone’s masculinity on the vehicle they drive. I do, however, judge them on their ability to master such a machine.
Nah, I personally spent about $9,500 to hit Moab (and a whole host of awesome trails in just about every state west of the Great Plains) but would love to have the added capabilities and comfort of an LC. It probably wouldn’t suit my needs for Depot trips, though. Did you know they’re also open during the week?
They're easy enough to install; I'd imagine some dealerships offer them as an add-on.
Why not sell them for $40,000? Better yet, $30,000.
Yet those who drive $45,000 vehicles are usually the ones complaining about the gas prices because they don't fully understand the concept of affordability; it's the driving factor of that segment.
It’s absolutely worth it when used as intended. Ever take your Flex out in Moab?
I hear they sell well in parts of Africa and the middle East.
Very well put.
A mechanic designing any working engine would be impressive, and is really the only part of this that raises an eyebrow. It would be like if the detail guy at the carwash was also certified by Lamborghini for body repair.
Serious question: isn't the doohickey that sits on the wire directly above the light housing actually a light receiver? If not, I've been looking like a jackass for the last 15 years (at least in regard to this specific topic).
It was sent to me by a friend who grew up in South Central LA long after it was a known hoax. For those it could have directly affected, it was sensible to take it seriously. Did your friend live in a high crime area?
But the oil companies do have something to do with the government lobbyists. It probably wouldn’t take too many bags of cash to have certain regulations enacted. Sort of like mandatory backup cameras.
I think I get what you’re saying. I'm pretty sure I misread your original post.
MSRP includes the mark-up; it is not the same as cost.
I’m confused. Are these the rankings during 2016-18 for all cars, or is it just for cars of those years?
You obviously have never seen Maximum Overdrive.
Yes, at least in Los Angeles.
None of the people who declined would have really contributed to a steamrolling though. It’s my assumption that that is exactly why they declined: no one wants to be embarrassed by losing after being a top selection.
