If he has done the same thing, in bounds and not in the end zone, it would have been ruled an incomplete pass. He never had control of he body and lost control of the ball because of it. That’s less controversial than the Pats/Steelers game last night.

You argue that he sastisfied A/B and C. I would argue that he did not satisfy C. After his second foot landed in bounds, he was clearly falling and not in control of his forward movement. So he never became a runner. At that point, he had to maintain control of the ball after he landed to qualify as a completed catch.

I’m with you 100%. A group of comp-crawlers showed up at our favorite spot one afternoon for a competition. There crawlers looked like a Volkswagen Beetle and a giant spider had a baby. They were able to pull off some amazing climbs, but I just love the scale look of scale crawlers. It’s far more engaging for me.
