Thanks!!

Perhaps it was a virus.

Odometer don’t rack up goin’ sideways, yo?

Oooo, good pull.

Heh, right. I figured that falls under my category, “Darwin Award death for anyone just slightly willing to work for it...”

We had an incident by the house last night. A fella pinned underneath a slow-moving (10mph zone) freight terminal train needed rescuing.

I, at first 2-seconds-knee-jerk thought, “How the hell you get mangled by a train you can outrun?” But setting aside there’s a “Darwin Award” death for anyone even just slightly

Sideways? 50 years-old and not heard that gem. Does bring to mind:

“Her first baby came out sideways, she didn’t scream or nothin.”

Though not familiar with his work overall, that vid is an old fav - happy to dust it off and post. I thought his F1 recap nicely captured the general milieu of last weeks race and summed up the genuine excitement rather well.

Yea, succinct and spot-on.

Now playing

I’d tuned in breifly live and caught this very highlight of the race as if I’d DVR’d it. Felt same spontaneous excitement in the moment. Bill does a nice recap.

Meanwhile on automotive TV channel, Velocity: wrench-throwing carny convict restomod dimwit deluxe contrived Caterham Cuda mayhem marathons. Now with 50% more angle grinding!

New soul...

To be fair, Mike was increasingly featured doing some interedting work segments as well lately (Chevy LUV, CVCC.) I’ll admit, Edd is fully the reason I watched, but just seemed by all appearances, especially since the California shows began, that the emphasis on work was increasing, that it seemed they both intended

Heh, FloLaw.

Wait, what a truly great early-century name for motor vehicle traffic signaling device! Petition to rename...

Nailed it!

Huh ...bet it starts.

Absurd. As a nuclear superpower, Russia has led the way bigly, proving itself time and again to be utterly responsible and professional with their military gear.

Good blue highways camper. Appears tidy - I always like to look at the stove, among the more obvious inspection, as indication of care. And I‘d cook on that as it appears -in pics- (pardon, photos a little dark and I’m outside in full sun.)

Not getting free ice-cream and candy vibes from this at all. In no way

I’d not heard ‘cookout’ in quite some time. Decades ago, as a young, oft-solitary white kid immersed in noted black gospel and soul scene, we’d get done killin’ it, sweating off 10lbs at a marathon Sunday service (every bit James Brown in The Blues Brothers) - approached by any number of ladies in outrageously

Love this, right here. As I age [semi-gracefully] past 50, it might sometimes be taken for granted that others have not experienced or have yet had need to learn certain things or “common” knowledge (applies to everything else too.) Love that one can come forward with no reserve and ask a terrific question and receive
