Oh I love that advice column. The bulk of the people who write are asking about a super predatory arrangement an SO or child or relative have innocently asked for. They’re so emotionally involved that they can’t see they’re being ripped off. It’s so great! It’s like Dear Abby for greedy people.

I have the feeling you don’t always get the best possible legal representation from a lawyer who takes GoFundMe.

And I’ll raise you Bret Maverick!

I’ll raise you an actual Ford Maverick:

And yet no one ever offers the tree counseling

This is what I don’t get.

Bill O’Reilly used to regularly attack George Tiller and call him “Tiller the Killer” on his show. Until, you know — whoopsiedoodles! — a terrorist murdered him. So it’s not like there’s no precedent for Fox News chodes causing violence.

Meatsweats Marj would be delighted if her performance inspired a crazy to do violence against AOC, I suspect.

1958 MG Magnette. Ok, it’s nothing to write home about, but it was a lot cooler than the 1959 Rambler American for which I traded it...

OK, so, this wasn’t mine but it was kinda understood that when I was old enough to drive it would go to me.

All of the cars I’ve sold over 25 years or so were sold with purpose, so there’s no real regret in any of them.  But there’s one that future me may regret.

My 1970 Buick Wildcat convertible.

I saw a MINT one of those just a few weeks ago when I was taking my 911 out for some exercise. I’d forgotten the Baja even existed, but the two cars next to each other screamed ‘80s so I had to take a picture.

I wish I still had this.  Had to sell it due to divorce.

1990 Thunderbird SC. Champagne-colored tire roaster.

My 1982 Toyota SR5 Pick Up long box manual 4x4. I did not know that they would be classics and it was my first 4x4 so I did not know how good off road it really was compared to what would come after. I was in graduate school and too poor to fix the transmission and no way to fix it myself living in an apartment and

My heart is still recovering from selling it. *note this is not the exact one

Yep. This isn’t a heartwarming tale, this is a damning indictment of our healthcare system and the effects of weak labor protections.
