I have to agree. At the end of the day, how did it *really* affect the driver to be passed? The bike was going to be long gone. The rider made an illegal pass and, as mentioned, is getting cited for that. It’s not the driver’s role to be judge, jury, and almost executioner.

I ride, but I have to agree with this. I see it all the time here, where motorcyclists use the bicycle lane to cut around everyone. And as to it not slowing the rest of us down, we still have to wait one extra place at a stop sign.
