You're right, my mistake. Bad day.

I work for an editing house. We use FCP 7. What part of that didn't you understand? However, if I need to cut a trailer or a 30-second spot, I use X, because it's not going away, and I want to stay in business. That's why I learned how to edit with Media Composer and Premiere, took courses for After Effects,

Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realize that FCP 7, Media Composer, and Premiere were all destroyed in the great editing apocalypse of 2012. NOBODY IS FORCING YOU TO USE IT. I stand by what I said. I still use FCP 7 for my large projects.

As someone in the same position as you (a person who has made my livelihood off of Final Cut), I actually love FCP X. Yes, it's lacking. Yes, there are functionality issues and changes to be made. But I have hope for the future, and it's features (along with MBL finally coming through) keep me interested enough to

By the time you get this message, I'll be in the dead zone. It came a little sooner than we thought, but this means you won't be able to send a message back. So, I just wanted to let you know that I don't need the message because I know everything you wanna say. Just remember it takes eight minutes for light to travel

What a shitty proposition..

Red Hair. White face. Beady eyes. May be carrying a shillelagh. Also has been known to give pots of gold to anyone capturing him. And something about potatoes.

No, no, no, I understand the concept of multiple reticles, but they're both 1x. There's no magnifier.

What's the point in having two 1x red dots?

Holy shit, is that Abe Vigoda?

There is a really good site that outlines the technology and dates regarding this. Futuretimeline.net, and I swear to all that is holy, I have nothing to do with the site. I was just amazed when I read one article there, and spent the next 15 hours going through the timeline and imagining the possibilities...

Not really. When you look at programs like AutoCAD, Maya, C4D, etc., the files themselves are rather small. We're talking KB small. You'd just have to have the software to read it. The problem is the material needed to create the objects. Right now, it's plastic, but down the road, metal, glass, rubber, and cloth

Hopefully, Apple will do something about the audio icon and importing. Having to have a bar instead of an icon (a la Acrobat) and not being able to use .mp3's is going to be a problem for a lot of the text book publishers.

Nah, it's an election year.. we'll see $2.50 before November.

Damn, I loved that series...

A good rule is to pull up so that you can just see the bottom of the tires on the car in front of yours. This gives you enough room to maneuver around them in case of emergency.

Word.
