Based on past statements, I've always believed he is a Black male.

I’m old enough to remember those days, too. It was a treat to see your favorite celebs on awards shows, TV specials, etc because you didn’t get to see them that often or really know that much about them. There was some intrigue. Now you know everything about everybody all the time. Sign of the times, I guess.

I’m confused. What exactly was the point of wearing an afro wig? More precisely, what made it “fun”, enough to evoke laughter and honking horns? Unless these were people who saw him regularly and knew he was wearing a wig, I don’t get it. Especially since Black people do wear afros...
