If you are an architect, it’s more important to project that you are successful over everything else. It shows that you’ve been rewarded for your ability as an architect and that your clientele might be getting a bargain for your services. To me, all architects should drive Saabs or Volvos. Tesla is the obvious answer

Actually it was a BMW... Alpina. The B10 had a slightly higher top end and comparable numbers all around.

They did make these with a turbo and 3 pedals. We sold one recently. It’s no WRX, but might be the perfect Hawaii vehicle the more I think about it...

How about a nicely kitted FJ80. You can find them in good condition (dunno about Ohio though) and have plenty left over for maintenance. You might be able to find an FJ40 in that price range as well since jeeps are boring.

What editor ok’d this piece of shit run-on sarcasm?

Ronin got the E34 M5 right, with one exception. No iteration of a Peugeot 406 would have realistically been able to keep up with it.

You could always go with one of these. Literally one. It’s the only 3-pedal 535 wagon I can currently find for sale in the US.  290 were imported.

Sounds like VTEC to me

A superbike (to me) is a liter sport bike or track day special (Panagale). The Blackbird was purposely designed to be long, stable, and have the lowest drag coefficient possible for the purpose of top end. It turns like crap and is terrible at cooling at low speed because of the aero. I respect the Hyabusa for what it

Slight correction... the Honda Blackbird was the first of the hyperbikes. Hyabusa is the Japanese name for the Peregrine Falcon, which hunts blackbird (and other birds) in flight.

The rear end has been pulled off, hence the tail light covers missing. Someone took one look at what’s under there, said NOPE and slapped it all back together. Entire gated shifter assembly is missing also. Co-Part will list a car as ‘Run and Drive’ meaning that the car starts, can motor 10 ft. forward and then 10 ft.

Regardless of the legitimacy of the contract and it’s protections, no competent defense attorney would ever let this get to the inside of a court room. The optics are not favorable to the shop in front of a jury. Titan would be best served financially to fix the car, apologize and make it go away. *Also not a lawyer

...one of God’s own prototypes...

I would have stayed in engineering if this was in the program (and I was smarter)

Do what I did and go from hot hatchback to hot wagon. 2010 535i with 6-Speed manual tastefully upgraded to ~450 whp.

No dealer service department I’ve ever spoken to will accept a salvage/rebuilt branded title car into their building, with the sole exception being for a safety related recall. And that’s only because federal law requires them to. There is no more warranty, and you are on your own for TSBs.

To iterate what has most likely already been stated, a manual transmission must:

In 2005 I traded my ‘01 S2000 for an ‘03 E46 M3 for a year. It did not live up to the hype and praise that automotive journalists of the day were heaping on it in my opinion. I kept the E34 M5 though, and traded the E46 for another S2000 shortly thereafter. Still have both today.  It would be refreshing if BMW could
