Since my B5 Passat, I've been very wary of aluminium anything on suspension components. While the Passat rode well for a US-bound family sedan, the aluminium links were a giant pain when it came to maintenance, something that really shouldn't be undertaken at regular intervals when it comes to your suspension.

I didn't like the 1 in pictures but on the street it looks proper wicked including the bum.

I thought BMW pulled production of the current X3 away from Magna Steyr?

I've been using the DeepSleep widget which lets you manually control which behavior is used. I can't decide whether I like the control to myself or whether I'd prefer it automated by Smart Sleep. Deep Sleep would allow me to change batteries without losing my current work state on command which is nice...

cops make 80G? Cor.

@Scootah: Either force new windows to open as tabs or use the keyboard shortcuts for expose (which has a single application window switcher). The keys, I believe are re-mappable.

@diablofreak: Yes. Since I moved to Toronto, I retained my US based GrandCentral number and simply have it forwarded to my Toronto cell. Us to Canada calls for my friends for local prices.

wow, the R34 is 350 times better looking

@dylanseals: Yeah, Euro Civics are the bomb-diggity! What torque on it?

Looks wicked good! Agreed, it's all in the Porsche nose.

I didn't realize car prices in mother Russia were so inflated as to consider a 6-7000$ vehicle the "people's car."

I've downloaded a host of titles to my ipod touch in the hope of starting down the ebook road. So far no go, it just doesnt work if the musty scent of paper is missing and i cant finger the paper-edges. I'm still trying though...

Looks a bit like an Odyssey to me... then again, all minivans looks alike.

If that's a Scorpio pictured up top, it's the most heavily moddedone I've ever seen. Looks sweet with the mini bed and squared rear fenders.

Honestly, how much crap/versions/marketing nonsense can you milk out of just one car. It's just a Mustang, I don't rate it as one of the better looking ones either...

"Russian weirdness often has its moments of greatness," is what it should read.

Staying on 1.1.2 JB for the time being. Besides, given the recent price antics of Apple, it makes sense to wait it out a bit.

The B5 Passats used to be gorgeous, in fact, they still are thanks to timeless design cues (stubby trunk, arched roofline). Now, though, what a mess.

It's a great idea for India and for less privileged people everywhere. We all have a right to mechanized mobility. Plus keeping the car super-cheap while maintaining emission and safety standards will push technological boundaries too.

I'm still waiting for the Tweel from Michelin.
