I find it really ironic that parts of the US government are trying to instruct a pro sports organization on how to conduct business and who to conduct business with. I wonder if Colin Kapernick is listening closely to all this BS. They can’t just pick and chose when to become all high and mighty.

I actually kind of feel sorry for Baker cause the media have put this kid on a pedestal. They love to do that when they come across a rookie that’s full of confidence and likes to run his mouth. The best story though is when the kid gets humbled and  has his mouth shut for him.

See this is the main reason a hitter should not hop, skip and strut after he thinks he “caught one good”, cause sometimes the baseball gods get pissed off and embarrass the heck out of you on national TV. Hey Ronald, you want to be a star in the league, start watching Trout or Judge. These guys are superstars that

Nothing better in the sporting world than to see an idiotic fanbase end up with a complete goon of a superstar for an incredibly long time. Can’t wait for Bryce to falter again next year so we can discuss the merits of how often Philly fans love to consume their own. LMAO.

What Sandusky did and many of the other coaches associated with the Penn State football team did - or didn’t do - was reprehensible, there’s no argument to that fact. BUT because an author chooses to explain these actions using proven methods backed up by actual scientific experiments etc... doesn’t make him a bad guy

That’s a great story...did the Cubs win the game?

You know what teammates hate...being asked by the media about the crazy actions of one of the teammates. I get it that they can take a pass but after the fifth guy asks the same question, you start to get steamed. As for how things are going to go with AB in New England, I can’t imagine little Bill putting up with

Ok, lets look at the facts...Stroman, on numerous occasions said that he wanted to be traded to the Yankees, he’s a New Yorker, I’m not affraid of the bright lights etc... The Blue Jays wanted to trade Stroman because he didn’t fit into their plans moving forward. Now what do you think Brian Cashman is going to do

I hope absolutely no one is surprised by Jake’s comments. Harper is a complete ‘ME’ player. He may talk a good game but when in game pressure starts he mentally folds up like a wet paper bag. Mark my words, the Philly Harper experiment is going to end bad, verrrrryyyy bad.

Trout’s hometown is exactly 48 minutes from the Phillies stadium so Harper - or his agent - have done their homework.

Is an A-Rod trying to ride on a Jeter’s coattails again?

Well at least we now know that the kid can hit even when he’s completely fooled by an off-speed pitch. Breaking ball or change-up it didn’t matter, he deposited it in the stands anyway.

I’m beginning to understand why “the market” really didn’t get started until after spring training started. The Owner’s are just sick and tired of making a legit offer to a player and then made to wait 4 months for the players agent to peddle it all over hell’s half acre. After which time the first team’s legit off

I disagree with Manfred, but for other reasons like the following... which are facts and not my opinion...

Pink, Harper has turned down a 300 million contract. How could a logical person turn down a 300 million contract? It is NOT that both Harper and Machado are not getting offers, they are... Damned good one’s too. The problem seems to be that they and their agents believe they are worth more that the ungodly amount of

I totally disagree with your post but I actually do believe I have a solution to all the bitching a whining from both sides. The MLB should regress to the PGA payment system. A player gets paid purely on his performance. Guaranteed contracts would be abolished. EVERY player contract would be filled with incentives.

So let me get this straight... Verlander - and anyone that agrees with him - believes that the Owners have hunkered down in a room somewhere and planned out how they will collude against the players to drive down salaries? Is that what we are being fed? Come on people. Wise up! The fact that both major players in the

These “out of this world” displays of talent can only take place when one hockey player decides to puck watch instead of taking the man. Knock the guy on his wallet, then we’ll see how good he really is. lol

“it’s still not clear what caused the elevator to malfunction...” So is it an elevator or an escalator?
