Do you honestly believe that guy has the funds to cover a possible train derailment? Unless there’s a large company like Monster/Redbull/etc hosting the event then it’s just not logical that they would give him permission to do the jump.

Electronics on them can definitely be a pain in the ass(I replaced a fair amount of sensors/wires etc before she ran well), but once you knock out all the electrical issues they’re usually pretty damn tough... Good luck getting yours sorted.
