I have plenty of respect for the looks and handling of the c6, but have never really been a fan of GMs interiors... That’s really where the charm lies with German cars, although the new C7 has definitely come a long ways, especially when compared to the c4/c5.

Reliable’s way too boring though... Do your own wrenching, keep up on preventive maintenance and you really won’t spend that much on repairs. Insane hourly labor rates for European garages is what will kill your pocket book.
