In B4 Obvious: Citroen DS

93' German VW Golf GL with a TDI swap.

Every time I see one of these, it just reminds me of how much better looking the 918 and P1 are.

This one you just posted is the pre-facelift one, which I think is certainly less ugly. It sure as hell ain't pretty, but yeah, it would look alright on a new-age Ridgeline. The post-facelift one (the first one you posted) is just fugly.

Already in the US and allowed. It was one of the big cars that fell under the Show and Display rule.

Hopefully this question isn't limited to 1989 model year cars. I'm partial to the Group B era cars, particularly the homologation specials the manufacturers were required to build in order to compete. Someone has already ticked the 959, so I'm going to go a different direction and nominate the Ferrari 288 GTO, the

1989 Alfa SZ Zagato. Be the hit of every Cars & Coffee.

Mercedes Benz 190E Cosworth.

This. A thousand times this.

This post should break jalopnik once and for all. Like others posting here, Id love to know what his cost was all-in for this endeavor. If its anywhere near 30K, I could think of 5 cars right now Id rather have more than this one.

I have to say Im still in love with the original concept with the 5 pot. I would sell my ass to bored hot jewish moms in order to fund this ride:

I don't know for the other European country, but in France the price gap is huge. The base model (with the recaro seats) start at 23 800€ and the Focus start at 31 150€. This is why Europeans are more obsessed by the Fiesta than the Focus

You'd be surprised how much a difference in size can impact driving dynamics, even between two relatively small cars. I've driven both the Mazda 2 and 3 extensively and the 2 feels totally different to the 3. I'm assuming it's the same thing with the Fords.

The price gap is pretty small. I have not driven either of the cars, but everything I've read points to the Fiesta being the more engaging car to drive. As someone looking for a zippy little city car, that appeals to me.

If anything, this doesn't belong on the list.

Volkswagen, you build a helluva car in the VW Scirocco. Why don't you share it with America? It's just another VW Golf variation and, c'mon, I hear it could smooth silk if... I lost my train of thought.

Fuck pick up trucks. And fuck the fucking semi-literate fuck heads who drive them. I would dearly love to ass-fuck them all with a chainsaw. 90% of the hauling done with them is done by the 10% of the owners. The rest are owned by posers.

I am actually shocked at how much I like this thing. And I hate new cars as a general rule. I'm actually doing finance calculations in my head right now to see if I can swing it... maybe in a year or two when the first pre-owned ones start coming up.

Tesla Model S. What car has gathered more all around media attention than the Tesla? It's changing the way people buy cars, and changing what we expect from automotive technology.

Honestly, I probably could. Assuming all the testing and such was done and the safety data was freely available, I would have no problem. Computers can think faster than us, react faster, predict conditions better, don't get tired, etc. Sure they can't be "creative" to come up with unique solutions to problems (yet),
