I see a D8 sometimes when I drive from work. It's a goodlooking car, and the sound is amazing. Shame you don't see them more often, even here in the Netherlands. If only I could afford one, they are still quite expensive...

This looks weird to me.

They don't hate cars there at all, just driving fast. You actually see a lot of nice cars around, and they always go for the big engined fast versions of cars. Lots of s8's, AMG's, WRX, turbo S and that type of stuff.

Dacia 1310 pickup. You can't even carry enough spare parts in the bed to get you to the nearest mechanic.

.

My mom had a white one. I made her stop around the corner when she picked me up from school because I was so ashamed of the thing. Must have been around 8 at the time.

I think launching the 4C only is the right move. They don't really have a full line of cars, just 3 and the other two really suck. I hope they are not bringing the Mito and Giulietta over to the US and wait for some new models that are actually good. Those two cars just feel like a Fiat when you're driving them, and

There's one in Amsterdam that looks quite good. Not sure if it's a standart kit or some custom job.

Thanks for the heads up, I didn't know that.

That new Lada Niva that will now probably never happen. Thanks Putin.

If you ever go to one of these lame safari parks with your kids, call ahead and ask them what car they use to feed the animals. It's much more fun when you show up in a similar shape and colour car, and the entire animal Kingdom is running after your vehicle all the way through the park. True story this, who knew

I don't get French cars. They're shit when new, but after a few decades they all become cool somehow.

Amsterdam is technically already underwater, so I doubt the sea level rise will have any effect. We're not scared of the sea, it does as it's told.

loosely translated:

I could translate, but my reply would be pending and in the grey anyway. I can tell you the car is sponsored by Moritz Tuning in Amsterdam, and they still exist! http://www.moritztuning.nl/

Nobody in Europe knows what a Miata is.

Not true (well the part about the stoneage is). He's been talking with Angela Merkel more than any other European leader, and he (rightly) seems to have more respect for her than our male prime minister.

Insane prices, just go and buy one. Here in Europe a basic Camero is about $140.000.
