Actually, I think the BMW I3 already does this (although engine braking is perhaps the wrong term technically). Probably a few other EV's with heavy brake regeneration/engine braking do this as well for safety reasons. So it's not that hard to do apparently, I think it's a good idea.

Now playing

You don't really need 1600hp to do this, actually if you spin the wheels too fast the tire sucks in air instead of water and you lose forward speed.

I once brough back a VW transporter van with the complete exhaust system missing (it sort of fell off while offroading). It was very loud when I drove it into their parking lot. We also scaped the side a couple of feet, but there was a sticker on the door and we just moved the sticker to cover the scratch. It looked

I'll concede that it's not a proper car. It's doesn't make the right noise and they look shit. But the handling is way better than a 4x4 actually. Go testdrive the I3 or Tesla Roadster and then tell me how EV's don't handle well.

I've driven most EV's in the past few weeks, and they are not shit. If you live in a big city and/or have a short(ish) commute they make a lot of sense. I've just bought one, it's a perfect car for what it needs to do. I do have another car that is more fun to me, but driving a big 4x4 in gridlock traffic daily is

Finally somebody hits the apex, and Jalops are suggesting boulders?

The argument that teens will start smoking when they watch F1 with tobacco sponsorship on it is absurd. Teens can't stay awake for a whole F1 race, almost nobody can.

Can we do a ridiculous airline outfit battle here? I'll start:

Wake me up when they've build a carbon fibre clown's footwear.

I've done a fun little calculation for you, it explains why 63 AMG's are not so common in western Europe.

It also has one of the biggest widescreen tv's mounted on top, much bigger than the US navy. And it rotates too so you can watch Forbrydelsen from all angles.

Nothing. But there are some known issues with some brands that make it really easy to steal them. You would expect them to try to prevent theft, but they don't because it makes them more money this way. All VW dealers here know of these problems but VW refuses to fix them because it would cost money to fix it, and

Hahahahah! Who's going to track them down? Nobody gives a shit. My Polo GT got stolen last month, the police didn't care, the insurance didn't care either. Even if they have a GPS track they still won't do anything, the police here are a joke.

Who is this Missouri dude? Please tell him to ship all reamining Tesla's to me, we've ran out again.

You sometimes see these old Ghibli's in Europe, they are still very, very pretty cars.

You are half right.

Not so much, we been doing the industrial windmill thing since about the 13th century I think. Without windmills our country would look a lot different because they used them to pump out water from reclaimed land and a lot of our country used to be sea. So nobody cares if you put a giant stick with a propellor in a

True, but they still work when there are clouds. Solar in the French Riviera is only 50% more efficient, although life there is much more pleasant.

Ok, i'll try making an adult reply.

Yeah, but he's opening the passenger door also right after the crash. The magician wouldn't open the door for one of the valet's homies.
