Not sure if I dare admit it, but I actually owned the previous model. It was a gift, so I can't really fault it.

You can get the GTI here in Europe with a factory installed ECU flash from ABT with full VW warranty. 270hp.
A lot of rich people don't care about cars at all. I deal with a few very rich dudes because of my work, and they are all different like normal people. One of the wealthiest drives some kind of Kia Minivan, he says he doesn't like to show off. Another has a Chrysler Voyager that all dented and kinda smelly.
OW. Dat green one.
After ignoring all post about this for a while it has now officialy turned into a "thing" so I had to watch the video.
Or Pikes Peak?
I'm afraid Doug is right, they are pure evil. I drove a Cayenne S briefly, and if you don't feel like a total douchebag in one of those things you are obviously a total douchebag.
It's flexible. Five hours is no problem. When you think you almost need to go, you loosen your seatbelt and that will buy you another hour or two. I then drive absolutely flat out untill I run out of gas. If you're not out of gas by this time you have not driven fast enough or need a different (better) car.
Is that an A6 allroad? I've always lusted after one of those...
Don't be so hard on the bug, I think it's perfect. I wish we had these in Europe, I would love to own one.
Great engine, but like tduassassin said, the later VR6 engines are even better imo. Why not get one of those in the A3 quattro instead? Nobody wants these cars here so they are cheap.
