I can’t get myself to complete the campaign. I just don’t find the game that fun. The fighting is very clunky, the enemies are boring and the level design feels like old school Twisted Metal.

Wow, I haven’t thought about this show in over 20 years and now your article is bringing back a flood of memories. A total recall meltdown!
I would love to go back in time and see the musical greats at the heights of their careers. From orchestras conducted by Beethoven to bands led by Louis Armstrong, that’s where I’ll be. YouTube is the next best thing however in this non-time travel world.
It’s good to see these acknowledgments. I wonder if it will ever extend to Star Wars. I mean those Trade Federation aliens...
Well, he’s the man for his time and place. He fits right in there...
Winkie, the secret granddaughter of Cornelius Evazan. Born with the same eye defect, she was mocked relentlessly by other children in the space orphanage. Yet, though her tormentors called her “Winkie,” she made the name her own and grew up to be the greatest sharpshooter in the galaxy.
I’m convinced that is Morn — clearly, a man who chooses his words as carefully as Morn has the wisdom of someone several thousands years old.
Nobody say a word...
If the Voyager reference is true, they may as well go all the way and bring back Robert Picardo as the EMH. Remember that episode where a copy of the EMH program is downloaded by an alien society in the future? At the end, the EMH decided to take a shuttle and make a solo trek back to the Alpha quadrant. Maybe he’d be…
I’m excited for the series, but I hope they handle the whole destruction of the Federation thing without throwing the past too much under the bus. In the new Star Wars films, it was depressing to witness the failure of the New Republic and the ineffectiveness of Luke, Han and Leia. It would be pretty terrible if it…
It’s not like the Empire had much time to destroy all this stuff. It was only in power for less than 30 years — and the remnants of the Republic Senate weren’t even dissolved until the start of New Hope. The Soviet Union had nearly 70 years to re-shape Europe, but the Empire is dealing with an entire galaxy.
I’m concerned that affirmative action-type regulations don’t work for Hollywood as they do for universities. Seems to me like a production can meet these qualifications by casting non-essential roles with “token” minorities. Rather, there needs to be a framework for promoting minority creators and actors.
It’s fun be tongue in cheek about this sequel, but in a way I think it’s long production time is kind of admirable. Instead of going the Blockbuster route by immediately turning a successful sci-fi adventure into a multi-film franchise, Cameron took his time.
A blink and you’ll miss it cameo
Law student here. I wish it was possible to actually see the commercial. Can’t find it on YouTube. But, there are some clues in the letter as to what kind of argument Murray’s team may be presenting.
I miss the theaters, but one advantage to home viewing is the option to turn on sub-titles.
