It reveals the severely militaristic underpinnings of the Federation. Their society presumably celebrates the individual — but, here we see the the tragic philosophy that self-sacrifice for the apparent greater good is an honorable act. It’s a shame these kids weren’t taught that their futures would serve society

Sounds a lot like the DS9 episode, “Valiant,” which was about a bunch of snotty kids taking over a starship during the Dominion War. It was actually pretty tragic because it ended up with the poor teens blowing themselves up during a foolhardy suicide mission.

Despite being online, 2020 certainly feels like real Comic Con. I had my alarm set and my tabs organized to deftly swoop in and purchase my favorite collectibles. Yet, everything was immediately sold out. Who are these people? There must be bots or some other scams at work.

I was there at 5 years old. That Turtles concert is one of my earliest memories — a fever dream recall of flashing lights, screaming kids and leaping turtles. The memory is so surreal I had to check with my with mom to confirm that I was indeed taken there around that age. So, I’m definitely buying the set to honor

In happier times, I could see Jin as a Japanese Keanu Reeves

An entire article alone can be done on Venom. One of Spidey’s most iconic villains starts out as goop that sticks on Peter’s dorky scooter? And this came from the man who created the Evil Dead.

Not a film, but still want to give kudos to Courage the Cowardly Dog.

It’s a Me!

I think there could be big opportunities for the Doctor, not only in Picard, but Discovery too. Remember the Voyager episode where a copy of the Doctor’s program is downloaded into an alien database a hundred years in the future? That one ends with him getting in a shuttle and making a lonesome trip back to earth to

This is nice, but for some true virtual interactivity I would recommend video games. My favorite non-violent exploration games include No Man’s Sky and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. No Man’s Sky is a space travel simulator dropping you into an endless virtual universe. There are literally thousands of unique planets to

For me, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Witcher 3. There’s always something to discover while wandering around these worlds. Especially RDR2 (single player)— it’s surprising how much time I find myself fishing and greeting people around the various towns.

The original poem is just as bad. I don’t know how Jews can be included with communists and socialists. Judaism is a faith and the other two are political groups. Persecution against a people is not the same as persecution against a political ideology. Children were not gassed to death because they were communists...

Rom is the new Nagus, but I assume the title is still used for former title holders just like how former Presidents are still addressed as “President.” It would make the most financial sense — I’m sure former Nagus’ go on very lucrative speaking tours across the galaxy.

Hopefully we’ll see some Ferengis. They’re my favorite Star Trek aliens. If Wallace Shawn lends his voice to an animated Grand Nagus Zek I’m onboard!

My favorite Weyoun moment is when Worf just suddenly snaps his neck Steven Segal style. I don’t think there’s ever been a moment like that in Star Trek and it shocked the hell out of me. And Damar had a huge laughing fit over his body. Great all around

As much as I love this movie, I never liked Willem Dafoe’s mask. It looked too much like a Halloween mask from Wal Mart — especially with his mouth visible. A simple black mesh would have improved the design.

The main character’s name — “B. Rosenberger Rosenberg” was enough to turn me off the novel. Immediately gave me the impression of a poorly aged comedy from 1964, or a knock off of A Confederacy of Dunces. What a silly name, I’ll laugh every time I read it!...not.
