Very well written and very true from my perspective having followed Ferrari and being a massive fan since the early 70's.

Do you consider nuclear warheads as part of Russia’s military? Asking for a comrade :-)

Interesting article, but I honestly think you missed the mark.

This is the same steel that is used in Space X - Starship Mars Rocket and I think it was Elon who said that this truck can be easily converted to a pressurized vehicle for let’s say Mars travel!

That made my day!

The old saying “fucking idiots don’t fall far from the tree” rings true here. I hope the drivers in the other cars sue the pants off of these two fucking morons!

Reading your “250K” rant cracked me up. Here is another way of looking at it: 250K+ people gave their contact information to Tesla and for that privilege they paid Tesla $100 each. Imagine what kind of knowledge can be mined from that information :-)

Ford has an army of expensive internal and external attorneys. Their initial reaction was to call out Tesla and announced that they want a rematch.

I am not sure that most pickup trucks used in the US are for work?

Thanks Boomer :-)

I would have agreed with you upto about 12-15 years ago when they used to rotate motivated engineers through their Corvette and racing programs, which also required engineers to take high-speed driving courses. The last of those teams were headed by the likes of John Heinricy.

The VW Golf TCR......... Oh wait, that’s available in the civilized world, but not the US of A :-(

Problem #1 at GM: Too many f’ing accountants.

I find it interesting that you keep talking about how this truck will not be a mass-seller. From day 1 Elon said that it’s going to be different truck that will have limited appeal so let’s not harp upon it not getting to be a mass-seller (so far if reports are correct there are over 200,000 pre-orders).

Put a 5 to 1 ratio cog in the tachymeter..... it will show 1,000 RPM at idle........ good to go :-)

I love how the communications guy throws the aftermarket providers under the proverbial bus “Ran into aftermarket cooling fan issues”. Somebody should tell them that they are a car manufacturer and it never helps to throw your suppliers under the bus like that. Man up Ford and take responsibility.........

That was great! It cracked me up when he said “..... it doesn’t want to change direction......”.

That WAS an amazing lap! Wow....

On first pass, I am not sure if I like it. I am allergic to 4 door cars and SUVs, but love the way the look of the new Mustang.

Ferrari goes in 20 year down cycles. We are currently in year 12 of 20 :-)
